Member Area

What is there to see here?

Here you, as a translator, will find the help you could need, such as instructions, tips and examples of how translations in the renpy system should definitely look like and how not to avoid bugs in the translation.

!!!WARNING!!!

If you leave the site, you have to log in again.

The system only remembers your login as long as you have not yet entered the page and also not left the login page.

In other words, as soon as you leave one of the two areas, you won't come back here without logging in again.

Over this Area

This area is intended to keep all translators up to date on how the respective beta versions for the next game version (0.xx.x) are progressing.

All information about the beta will come from the developer personally and will be entered promptly by the WebAdmin (AshocaTano).

So don't be surprised that no later than 1 month after the public release, this data on the currently completed version will be removed from the "Beta Status" and "Beta Downloads" areas and will take its place in Public Version 0.xx.x with the holy Public Version links to make room for the new information about the next version

The individual areas briefly explained

Beta Status:

As the name suggests, information about the beta versions, e.g

    Harem Hotel 0.xy Beta x:

    New content

Continuously updated until the public release and then these texts are reformulated and describe the public version.

Beta Pictures:

This area displays all the images in the beta that contain text with filenames and would be happy to be edited for you by (Ashoca Tano) into your language.
So that you can create a separate folder in the tl directory under:

as an example here:

    tl/german/images/v16

so that the game can use these images later.

Don't panic a list with all file names can be found after public release in the tips and help picture list area.

Beta Downloads:

Yes, what is there to say too much, hmm maybe that members in the Translation Hub have access to all beta and alfa versions and also pre-release versions as well as the corresponding Patreon classes.

Because they support the game in their own way by making the translations for it and not supposed to follow up on the version number.

as a small example here:

Translator Janus not yet in the Translator Hub does the translation into swedish and is where v0.16 comes out with v0.15.1 a long time ago finished, so his version is outdated when it is publicly released because it cannot cover the new content.

But only now can he start translating it, since he previously had no access to v0.16 betas.

In the Translator Hub, he gets access to every beta and can update his translation version while it is being created, and with the public release the v.0.16.x translation is also ready and can even be included in the public version. So he doesn't have to distribute his translation himself at the end, it is included in the release.
